This 96 km gravel route takes you through the outskirts of Hamburg, offering a mix of beautiful countryside and charming towns. With 311 meters of ascent, it provides a moderate challenge for well-trained amateurs. The route starts near Wandsbek and heads south towards Theodor-Wulff-Höhe, a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding area. From there, you'll cycle through Glinde, Bergedorf, and Alte Fischtreppe, where you can learn about the history of fish migration. Continuing on, you'll pass through Winsen (Luhe), known for its picturesque old town, before reaching Finkhütten-Berg, a hill offering stunning vistas. The route then takes you through Seevetal and past the Beethovenstein, a monument dedicated to the famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Afterward, you'll cross over to the island of Wilhelmsburg, known for its industrial heritage and modern architecture. Finally, you'll end the tour in Öjendorf, where you can explore the extensive green spaces and lakes in the area.
