Oak Forest Grind

The Oak Forest Grind is an 89-kilometer gravel cycling route starting near Neukirchen beim Heiligen Blut. With an ascent of 1799 meters, this route is recommended for experienced gravel cyclists. The ride takes you through dense oak forests, offering a unique and immersive nature experience. A highlight of this route is Vorderbuchberg, located 1 kilometer into the ride. This hilltop offers panoramic views of the surrounding forest and is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery. Orlovická hora, at 16 kilometers, is another notable highlight, with its ancient ruins and historical significance. Bezděkov, 31 kilometers into the ride, is a charming village with well-preserved traditional architecture. Černá věž, situated at 37 kilometers, is a medieval tower that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Mochtín, 47 kilometers into the ride, is a quaint village known for its picturesque setting and peaceful atmosphere. As you approach the end of the route, you will pass by Brändriegel, an 85-kilometer highlight known for its challenging gravel climb and rewarding views.
