The Lavamünd Adventure

This round-trip cycling route starting near Dravograd takes you through a variety of landscapes and charming towns. From the quiet town of Dravograd, you will ascend a total of 3607 meters and cover a distance of 141 kilometers. Throughout the route, you'll encounter highlights such as Lavamünd, known for its picturesque location along the Drava River, the towering Lubitschkogel, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, and the Kramerkogel, known for its challenging ascent and rewarding views. As you cycle further, you'll pass through Wolfsberg, a historic town with a rich cultural heritage, and Göselberg, which boasts scenic vistas. The route also includes stops at Handalm, an idyllic mountain chalet with stunning alpine scenery, and Gressenberg, a charming village surrounded by lush green hills. Continue onwards to reach Amtmannhöhe, offering magnificent vistas of the Klippitztörl ski resort, and Garanas, known for its traditional wooden houses and tranquil atmosphere.
